by Byron Dobell ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 19, 1960
This is a veritable zoo of comical animals in comical poses. Byron Dobel, who has collected the photographs, adds his own rhymed captions, which are, as might be expected, humorous. One wonders how the cat got into the cookie jar and the space monkey into the coffee cup, but photographers being what they are, have a way of uncovering such situations. Most children like animals. Still more like to laugh, and on the basis of those two maxims, this book is recommended to young children, particularly if their parents are shutter bugs.
