A COW CALLED BOY

Mary's lamb has nothing on Josh Mahon's trained calf (really a bullkin though everyone keeps calling him a cow), who disrupts the whole school and then the town of Kendal, Jamaica, by following Josh into his classroom on the first day of school. Urged on by the distraught principal, Josh's mother (under) sells the calf but picketing classmates (joined by their teacher who was impressed with Josh's report on Boy, his ""summer project"") force the new owner to sell it back and induce the principal to set up an animal center at school. Their vigorous display of loyalty is not surprising: Josh is a likable boy and he should go far.
