JONG, ANYONE?

Except for an earlier paperback for beginners on this publisher's list, nothing else is available on Mah Jong, a game which goes through endemic periods of popularity. This small book is also for beginners but in later chapters, dealing with special hands, will be found useful by the more experienced player. Since there are variant versions of the game, all players will appreciate the specifics on basic hands, procedures and play, scoring, penalties as well as the preliminary explanations of the tiles, racks, counters, etc. The book has an attractive format and is well priced.
