A sequel to The Magic Ball from Mars (1953) outlines another visit received by Johnny Jenks from the man from ""out there"". Shining, silver haired Arcon, who is an inhabitant of another planet in a distant galaxy, is wise and kind, and this time he brings his son Remo with him in the flying saucer. They land on the Jenks' New Jersey farm and there follows an enriching exchange of knowledge and friendship, marred only by the government's attempt to reveal their presence. Publicity would be damaging, but its prevention is successful and as Remo and Arcon depart they leave a legacy of good will. Sugary but human.
