THE GLORIES OF GREECE

This is a book that fills a real -- though not very active -- need. Only book with which I am familiar which serves as an actual and practical travel book for anyone going to Greece, and a good book for the armchair traveller to read at home. Told as personal experience, with anecdotes of the voyage, etc. And at the same time, excellent background material of history and story to make the visit to Greece more vital.
