Another story of Betsy, Ellen and Billy who are now in the third grade and as enterprising as ever. They help their much loved teacher, Miss Grey, get married, even have a part in getting her new house ready, including an adventure with white-wash. They like their new teacher, learn a great deal about Mexico, have a wonderful Christmas sleigh ride and take an Easter chick to teacher. This is an unusually entertaining easy reading book with attractive line drawings by the author, and will doubtless be as popular as the other Betsy books with 7 - 9 year olds.
