AN APPROACH TO THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH

No better brief for the nature and claim of the Episcopal Church has been written. Dr. Carroll E. Simcox, the rector of St. Mary's Church, Tampa, Florida, has written with clarity of spirit, the urgency of one who wants to share what he has tasted and found satisfying, and with cogent phrase and apt illustration that makes many words an intrusion. A champion of the faith as the Anglican Church has received the same, he offers this book to the seeker whose question he answers with grace and wit, as well as to the church member of long standing who wants better reasons for his faith than those he learned in confirmation class so many years ago, when the world seemed to be larger and simpler. Rectors of Episcopal Churches should delight to have this book available to give to inquirers, and discussion questions for each chapter make it an admirable text for an adult discussion group or Bible Class.
