Contrasts in character for the story of Betay Harling, good and generous and Sheila, willful and venton, the younger adopted sister Betsy had always indulged. With Betsy's engagement to Lucien, a Frenchman of dubious principles. Sheila once again makes a play for Betsy's man (who only wants her money), abuses a youngster to get her way, fails, and is killed. This leaves Betsy free to marry a more upstanding and younger man. In this line, which is rental, this is definitely personable and presentable.
