PAST THE END OF THE PAVEMENT

Tempest in teapot over the activities of two very real small boys whose widowed mother can't think fast enough to keep ahead of the things their curiosity about nature will lead them into. There's lots of humor, there's sound small boy psychology, there's good factual information about all sorts of queer pets, -- turtles, beetles, snakes, owlets, 'possums and so on. It's lots of fun and a good family book.
