Adults took keen delight in sharing with their youngsters the Robinson Animals of the Tar Pit and other similar picture books. Now they may have one of their own, if the youngsters let them keep it. An engrossing picture book of prehistoric life, which recaptures the creatures as they must have looked, and as they appear in the great city museums today. The introduction is a brief, clear and interesting exposition of the reconstructed history of our world's background. A book that public libraries will want for juvenile rooms, as well as adult reference shelves, and that school libraries should have called to their attention.
