by Charles Van Riper ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 7, 1961
Mr. Van Riper, who has spent more than thirty years in the field of speech correction has written a very helpful book about children's speech disorders which are so often badly handled at home. He discusses the four-basic categories of disorder, articulation, language, rhythm and organic problems. Much of the book emphasizes the emotional factors involved. An excellent approach for the many uninformed but concerned parents.
