by Charlie W. Shedd ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 6, 1976
Like Strictly for Dads, more twigs from Presbyterian minister Shedd's syndicated column--a sentimental story here, a prayer there, and continuous ""praise the Lords"" about being a ""fun grandparent"" as well as a mentor. Much of the material stems from the Fun Family Forums Shedd conducts where you can learn about patience and discipline and security and the infinite wisdom which comes in small bromides. A combo of grandparenthood and good senior citizenship uppers, along with 67 black-and-white illustrations to keep you smiling even if you've got a crick in your neck which you're supposed to overlook. Books like this take still more doing.
