When Dr. Miranda Trobridge is accused of malpractice after the death of a boy to Parkinson's, her attorney Charlie Spotted Moon has to dig deep into his Ojibwa spirit bag to come up with a solution to her defense. Alas, Miranda admits to a mercy killing in the past. . . then a drug salesman turns up a D.O.A. outside her clinic. . . and Moon (a Canadian Indian witch doctor) is compelled to put himself in the dead man's shoes and make a ""spirit walk.""
