WITHDRAW THY FOOT

Elderly but noticing Kate Clopp goes to visit a former student, Pat, who has married a widower with four children and also acquired a nonagenarian aunt and a houseful of unexpected guests. Three of the uninvited include a beautiful woman, with whom Pat's husband seems involved, an author with a typewriter full of greenbacks, and another young man who is either truculent or drunk. Murder upends the unfortunate weekend... Homestyled homicide, and even if the evidence is withheld, the manner is futgoing.
