PERCY, POLLY AND PETE

Predictable market always for Clare Newberry's kittens. This time a kitten trio and their two year old mistress go through the growing pains of growing up. It is an original and amusing story, as impetuous small Shasha experiments- even to the bathtub- with her pets. It takes a change of attitude on Shasha's part when she turns three to save the kittens from exile. The charcoal drawings on two toned backgrounds have their usual charm.
