by Clay Fisher ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
A collection of agreeable shorter tales combine humor, sentiment and action and the title story sets the tone for the collection in which an ""Eastern"" (Illinois) preacher comes to shepherd an untamed flock in New Mexico and uses a slingshot in a David and Goliath variant to win the ""oldest maiden lady"" who is all of twenty-three. Sundown Smith, Ghost Town, The Trap and The Hunting of Tom Horn also provide likable entertainment and bring an off-beat freshness to more traditional incidents of a forgotten frontier.
