THE HEADLESS LADY

More about Merlini, this time enmeshed in trouble in a traveling circus. Merlini starts off with a forced sale of headless lady illusion, and gets plenty of tangled threads to unravel. He eventually lands in jail, accused of the murders and of other strange happenings at the circus. Whirligig, well added with various kinds of professional slang-a good time passer.
