HOW I DISCOVERED THE SECRET OF SUCCESS IN THE BIBLE

Mr. Davidson has not only discovered the secret of success in the Bible, but he has likewise been eminently successful in heaping together an aggregation of the oldest and best and most psychological cliches that have been bruited about since twentieth century business discovered the Father of Psychology, William James. The only new feature of the book is the plethora of insurance figures which lard the text and the author's personal experiences and his unique arrangement of mnemonic tables. While this work may stimulate some it is bound to fall flat with many who have been reared on just such well-known fare. The attempted tie-in with the Bible seems a bit forced. His quotations from the Scriptures are isolated from their context. Neither individually nor in their sum do they even vaguely approximate religion nor the nurture of the spirit which is the function of religion.
