by Clyde Beatty ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 11, 1933
Clyde Beatty is the famous animal trainer whose act with the lions and tigers is one of the big features of the Ringling Brothers circus. In collaboration with Edward Anthony (co-author of Frank Buck's BRING 'EM BACK ALIVE), he has told the inside story of animal training, all its thrills and all its hard work. Excellent photographs are used to illustrate his points. To be published the week the circus opens in Madison Square Garden, simultaneously with the photoplay release, starring the author. This merchandising tie-up should be good for the book as the circus moves around the country. The text, while not inspired, is interesting reading, and should appeal to boys as well as adults.
