THE TROLLEY CAR FAMILY

A jolly book that fills a real niche in this difficult story level. A gay family solves its financial problems in a delightful way which will appeal to any imaginative child. They move into an abandoned trolley car which their father had driven for years. Morose Mr. Jefferson, next-door milkman (and of course the reader) participate in the life of the noisy, enterprising family, where even the children have their say in solving problems. Good story -- nice pictures.
