THE CASE OF THE SCAREDY CATS

The pint-sized private eyes of three previous Cases gets involved in a battle of the sexes when the girls take over their clubhouse. The mystery concerns the disappearance of little Annie, who runs away and hides when the boys flee from the girls' attack. Crosby Bonsall's pictures and bits of conversation are as engaging as ever, but there's no suspense in the silly story and no comfort for either sex in the conclusion.
