Frankenstein fantasia, in this tory of a brain, kept alive by a doctor's invention, whose powers for evil soon exceed the originator's control. Dr. Cory, cold, inquiring scientist, takes the first opportunity he gets and removes a brain from the victim of a plane crash. The brain had belonged to Donovan, a ruthless, heartless tycoon, and before long Cory becomes aware of the messages transmitted from the brain -- falls under its power, and gradually assumes the personality of Donovan. Embroiled in blackmail, in a fixed murder trial, and eventually completely mesmerized, it is his wife who intervenes and breaks the dead man's hold. Scientific improvisation, which borders on horror -- and which has some rather morbid moments.
