by C.W Anderson ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 14, 1949
This is another portfolio of Anderson lithographs, a series which have made a place for themselves among horse lovers everywhere. The lithographs are loose sheets for framing -- fifteen of them, in superb reproduction. A monograph is included in the binder which includes notes on the process of lithography used....You probably know your market here. To those not particularly concerned in the subject, this seems very much an echo of last season's collection. There are only about five lithographs of notable horses (War Plumage, Man O'War at 21, Greyhound, Equipoise, Citation); the balance are charming drawings of characteristic scenes and groups of horses, colts, fillies.
