MRS. TIM FLIES HOME

26th in this author's comfortable concoctions, this brings Mrs. Tim from Kenya, via Italy, to England where her happy times in a rented house are complicated by local gossip, a love affair for her daughter, Betty, a romance for a neighbor's daughter, and the mystery of The Small House. Mrs. Tim is ably championed by loyal Tony Morley, takes a stand against her aggressive landlady, chaperones a dance and flies her colors victoriously as her beloved Tim joins her and all scandals are put down. An ingenuous, naive diary form for friendly fiction.
