One of those aren't-kids-cute fabrications that will disappoint anyone who sticks it out. Glory is the street's source of chocolate peanut fudge. But there's a ghost tapping on her wall early each morning, she says, and her mother will move away unless the nuisance stops. So aspiring detectives Jason and Chuck get to work. It takes time. It takes pages and pages of short, choppy sentences. It takes the usual quota of red herrings (a painter who occupies the basement apartment, and would like to move up; a mysterious ""baron"" who lives under Glory and might be tapping messages in Morse code). And then it comes out: the culprits are a family of woodpeckers. Jason and Chuck are assured of fudge forever, but any normal youngster will think this is for the birds.
