VULCAN'S HAMMER

by Daniel da Cruz ‧ RELEASE DATE: May 1, 1967

Sometimes weird with a gross of plot hooks, this spy-kidnap mystery has a Washington, D.C., background and features a bloody climax in the rotunda of the Senate. It seems that, the Russians have launched a colossal peace offensive, which sucks in the President, and Senate. The Russians are refusing to buy secrets, are disarming, at the rate of four divisions a month and have cut their arms budget by sixty percent. Suddenly, to keep up, the States similarly fall into a turmoil of disarmament. Counterpointing this is the story of a kidnapped scientist held for, a five million dollar ransom. Before the story, is over he seems to have. lost a foot (or has he?), his wife () and his mistress in, what amounts to an, endless chase. Identities. are turned inside out and even he is someone else than you think (plastic surgery).
