HOW GREEN WAS MY FATHER

Really funny account of the author's attempts to transport himself and his family into Mexico and Guatemala. Unable to ship their car, and fly, the Dodges were forced to drive from San Francisco. They reached Mexico City with a case of contraband milk (canned) for 5-year old Kendal; they drove to Vera Cruz --shipped the car- and took three weeks, by plane, to locate it. Obstacles of tourist travel the hard way, for engaging entertainment.
