These horrid horrors take place in England (Mr. Gurney wrote the equally virulent ""F"" Certificate) where a group of six young men and women uses drugs and indulges in all kinds of mutually reciprocal sexual festivities in the woods (one of the girls also seduces her father). In time they exhaust each other's possibilities and recharge their desires by stealing three coffins from the Chapel of Rest, savaging the stiffs with knives, and proceeding on to other mortuaries and the kidnapping of a lovely child. . . . The publishers link this up with the Sharon Tate murder and also suggest some higher motivation in that Mr. Gurney comes from a ""famous family of Quakers and social reformers."" Be that as it may, it's just kicks for kinks.
