by Dick Friendlich ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 19, 1955
A football story plays on the wild imagination of a maladjusted roommate and the tie between offense and defense plays- for the action that keeps Carl Scott on his toes at Broadhurst University. Entering Broadhurst in his junior year, Carl comes with something of a reputation as a good end. But difficulties in keeping it are manufactured by his roommate Ferdie. To compensate for an inferiority complex, Ferdie spreads rumors of fixed games that imply Carl's guilt, and there is some misfortune before Ferdie is found out. Shallow, but angled with a new turn for the fans.
