by Doris Miles Disney ‧ RELEASE DATE: May 8, 1952
Janny comes to the Hollanders' house, from Chicago, for the funeral of her sister, Adelaide, who has committed suicide, and to take Adelaide's little boy, Sandy home with her. She learns of her sister's strange behavior, of the unhappiness of her second marriage, and of the dislike her Connecticut in-laws did not hide. Jenny's persuading a young doctor to help her find proof that Adelaide did not kill herself make her a bait for the killer, too. Well assembled family pattern for lady alone, but alive.
