by Dorothy Dix ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 4, 1939
The headliner in advice to the lovelorn and troubled souls tells you all about love and marriage. A pretty skimpey job, with repetition, but there is plenty of sound counsel. Love the great cure-all; how to tell when you are in love; attributes of a wife, of a husband; how to attract and how to hold; growing old gracefully; divorce and alimony; the other woman; the cost of free love, etc. The great army of her admirers are evidence of her appeal, so perhaps there is a market for the book. And there's a foreword by Dale Carnegie, to make it all cozy.
