THE SEVENTH MOURNER

Moss Magill, Sheriff of Notlaw, Colo., in carrying out the instructions of a wealthy woman's will, travels to Rowanmuir, Scotland, to dispose of her ashes, to learn the truth of a murder and to keep an eye on the heirs. Magill's opinions of Scotland improve as the relations between the heirs get worse and the accidental (?) death of one of his ""outfit"" gives him his chance to strut his stuff for the local police. Pleasant and unpretentious.
