by Dr. Alexander A. Bogolomets ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 14, 1946
The Director of the Kiev Institute of Experimental Biology and Pathology discusses old age in general, his own preventative measures in particular, in a brief but comprehensible essay. He explains that old age is the loss of the ability to regenerate by cell replacement, accompanied by symptoms in the nervous and endocrine systems, loss of flexibility, capacity, etc. He has discovered that blood transfusion is a powerful activator, and, along with other measures, can increase longevity and prevent repeating cancers. Dr. Bogolomets is no De Kruif- but that perhaps will give this greater oredence in medical circles where it will be of primary interest.
