EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX

This collection of gallivanting questions and lighthearted but explicit answers is subtitled ""and were afraid to ask."" The Act itself, with its repertory performances by homosexuals, prostitutes, and entertainers of a special sort is led into-and-on by such bursts as "". . . and then?""; ""why do they do that? . . ."" and Dr. Reuben tells why, and how, and to whom. Also covered is the matter of masturbation, impotence, frigidity, perversions, birth control, abortion, venereal disease, menopause and ""September sex."" In spite of Dr. Reuben's entertaining and slightly rakish approach, his insistence on ridding sex from guilt, fear and resulting aberrations comes through cool and clear. In many ways a useful and sensible book, given the reader's own appropriate degree of maturity--a strong factor in considering where you shelve it.
