THE QUEST OF HONOR

We have in this book a series of essays extolling the old-fashioned virtues which characterise a man of honor. The chapter headings indicate the ground covered; ""Use Your Head"" (prudence); ""Play It Fair"" (justice); ""Pay Your Debts"" (honesty); ""Never Lie"" (truth); ""Don't Quit School"" (search for knowledge); ""Keep Shame Alive"" (sensitiveness); ""Say Your Prayers"" (religion). The admonitions given are simply phrased and tellingly illustrated. The author is a Catholic but there is no sectarian emphasis. Suitable especially for leaders of Catholic youth groups.
