Dr. Kendall investigates both the Reparation wrought by Christ, and the responsive Reparation which is a mark of the Christian life, whereby Christians as vigorous churchmen express their faith in an activity of worship, prayer and work for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. His treatment of the Biblical basis of Reparation, and his chapter on Suffering are very helpful, while the chapters on personal sanctification and practical living reflect his close association with The Community of the Resurrection, both in Grahamstown, South Africa and Mirfield, England. This is no average layman's book, but Clergy who are seeking to reach average laymen, and theologians, and students of the faith will find its guidance significant.
