ALONG THE INDIAN ROAD

The Christ of the Indian Road which brought so many readers inspiration and Dr. Jones such fame now has an equally inspiring sequel. For the Christ still walks the Indian Road, still loves and lifts the burden from the millions who have turned to Him. This is the story of the Indian Road some twenty years after, seen through the experienced eyes of the man who worked for years among the Brahmins, who knows their culture, intellect, pride of race and how to meet them on their own grounds but was able to make them realize ""one thing they lacked."" The complex nationalist movement, the political problems, Gandhi, the governors, the Viceroy are met, given credit for good points and brains. A fascinating study, this Indian peep show, and very apt at this time.
