A wordless picture book of the original, action-narrative sort--like What Whiskers Did or A Boy, a Dog and a Frog--except that, instead of a sequence of actions, there's just a single, lame incident. A car, chasing a butterfly, starts up a tree and gets stuck; by the time some (Asian) Indians come with a ladder, it's reached a branch and won't come down (when the cat bristles, the lead Indian falls off the ladder); but the sight of a man carrying fish brings it down pronto. The cat is somewhat caricatured, making this less than ideal even for cat-lovers. A negligible idea occupying a very few pages--to be no sooner seen than forgotten.
