MASTERING THE TAROT

A shame this (and Miss Gray's other occult expositions) couldn't be issued in a musty old tome with arcane noodlings in the margins, to bolster the self-image of uncertain seers. Consulting Miss Gray has all the mystique of perusing a Mobil Travel Guide, even if she is riding the crest of this particular wave. Mastering is for readers ready for something more systematic than the card-by-card, suit-by-suit explanations of The Tarot Revealed, with more emphasis on number and cards' relative positions in the spread. This is the third installment of a revelation that the author seems to be projecting into the infinite beyond.
