THE GAY CHARIOT

Another family story, in which six youngsters make their way north from Texas in the nondescript car. The mother is dead --the father has disappeared -- the one last hope for adult supervision seems to be a New Jersey uncle. This is a good yarn, and the young people are essentially human, though one feels perhaps that they profit too patently by their mistakes.
