LITTLE O

Little O, the youngest in the large Larson family (see Pysen and The Sa Journey) is in illuminating spotlight here. With each chapter about her a complete episode and each funnier than the last, we go through some pretty recognizable doings of the earliest age. There is bathing time when Little O usually manages to get the whole bathroom as wet as herself. When she learns the art of braiding, everything gets twisted up including the fringed ends of the rugs. And when her elder brother Pysen refuses to be her ""baby"", she disguises the family cat as a substitute. Consequences are often uproariously funny because the author has so very accurately characterized the antics and emotions of five year olds and their relations with elders.
