A Complete Shape-Up that seems to have shaped up in the magazine's pages and arrived in book form without much alteration. Aimed at women 18-35, it covers body, hair, makeup, and skin care as well as health, the last in a section which lacks an organizing principle: natural childbirth is followed by winter energy levels, how emotions play tricks on your looks precedes a guide to breasts. The contents are fairly standard: exercises, basic hair advice and salon star makeovers, skimpy information on face and breast cosmetic surgery. All in all, a group of two- or three-page articles--Beauty Ideas for Your Lunch Hour--compiled matter-of-factly, without the one-woman-showmanship of Adrien Arpel or the cachet of the Sassoons.
