An anything but pasty shocker which borrows pages from assorted little black books all combined in the grimoire purchased in the auctioned collection of a French baron who dabbled in dark evil before he became a headless corpse. As will others here unless they disappear into catatonia. Cary Ralston, the purchaser of the book who solicits help in interpreting its arcana, is gradually convinced of the powers of PK (psychokinesis) which seem to send out stronger vibrations than those on sophisticated equipment, whether computers or electroencephalographs, also used here. . . . No really PK moments -- just showy ones.
