These big Ardizzone picture books have a good deal of text worked on to every page or so of pictures, and this third volume ties Tim of the first volume and Lucy of the second together, in another adventure in sea faring, with the same old captain and crew. There are all sorts of adventures, including a mutiny, but all turns out well with promise of more to come. Again a beautiful piece of reproduction, with pictures in lovely soft coloring.
