Where the Siamese with the crooked tail came from remains a mystery and how he noses out Dang's and Melee's stolen shoes is slightly fishy, which makes this short stopover in Bangkok chiefly an excuse for custom furnishing. On Children's Day Dang and Melee sample the free treats in the (American-style) amusement park, enjoy unaccustomed access to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, worry about what the cat will do next. The telling is flat, the drawings crude to cute. Good intentions are all it has to go on.
