MOLLY IN THE MIDDLE

Molly is fifth oldest in a family of nine children and two parents, so it puts her in an unenviable position. The New Hampshire escapades that bear this out include getting stuck up in an apple tree, looking after young Edward- her special charge- picnicking, pie making, canoeing, baby sitting and so forth- all of which have the cozy contentment of Miss Lattimore's other books for eight and nine year olds.
