The first three sections were published individually and appear here in somewhat abridged form but with a continuity so that one is scarcely aware of a break in the flow. Her growing up years capture a period that has gone forever and once again make her growth from a painfully shy girl into the outgoing dedicated woman she became even more of a miracle. The final brief section should be read by all who would recognize the challenge of today's world.
