A DINOSAUR IS TOO BIG

My mother said I could have an animal all my own."" And so the little girl muses on what it will be--rejecting in turn a fox, pig, fish, horse, camel, and even an elephant on the grounds that they are ""not big enough."" A dinosaur, at last, is big enough, but when the little girl considers the disadvantages of so large a pet (feeding and housing him, etc.), she decides that what she needs is a cat. It's a likely enough study in wool-gathering, with childlike animal drawings in the same spirit, but the idea isn't very big.
