THIS WAY TO THE SSTARS

Good Carfrae, many stops shead of her more recent books. An entertaining love story in lighter vein, -- the story of a miristor's daughter who goes to London to make good as an actress, gets down to her last copper, and is rescued by a wealthy author who sets her on her feet and who loves her but avoids marriage as a harnees. But it all comes right in the end, without sooming priggish at any point. Good dialogue, pleasant background. Rental libraries.
