Three likeable children, a lonely pony, a wonderful hired man, and a farm make a friendly story. Ted and his twin sister Sue were overjoyed when they were given a lovely pony named Twinkle, and planned all sorts of fun. But it was Twinkle who had the fun by running away from his new owners. It is Pete the hired man and his brother George, who discover the trouble through the moping Twinkle's affection for the children's baby brother.
